Default cylinder head gains

i'm getting ready to go the all motor route on my truck this summer and i am very interested in getting some new cylinder heads. i was gonna go all out and i was looking at the patriot stage III heads. what kind of gains should i expect from these and is there a better option? for example, milled 243's or P&P and milled stockers.

i talked to a local guy here with a machine shop specializing in cylinder heads.

he claims my stock heads with a 5 angle valve job, port/polishing and a small mill/shave......about a 25-30 rwhp gain. i have ridden in cars with engine combos he has put out , and he knows his ****!

as far as 243's or patriots, i am almost sure they outflow/outperform stock heads, but i wont know until i try them!

i went from 12.49@almost 105mph to 12.20@ a little over 110mph. get patriot to weld and recut the heads to stock size chambers or smaller to bump the compression

I'm still having a hard time believing that if you're using the stock truck intake that you will benefit that greatly from heads that outflow what the intake is capable of.

What vehicle is it going on? What engine? What are the specs on the patriot stage III?

the stage III's are made for a 4.000 or bigger bore, so unless your building a stroker, look into the stage 2's

With my 6.0L when I changed to the Patriot heads with the truck intake I picked up a .10 at the track. When I went to the LS6 intake I picked up .20 additional at the track.
