Well I am going to to go with a single cutout right before the muffler. I am going to order the cutout tommorrow. The only thing I need is the size I am pretty sure that they are 2.5 right. I am going to double check tommorrow. But can anyone confirm this for me. Thanks.

Please convince me where to put them.

Like I said I think I want manual the main reason for price, and I really dont mind getting under there. I think that when I do get it I will always leave it off!
Yah bro, my truck is ****** loud!! Thats why im going to get an electric cut out now. Im on a 4"6" drop, so its kinda hard for me to get under it easy.

Brand new a DMH is $199
Brand new a QTP is $159
Brand new a MCPP2 is $109

The DHM is the best....qtp is also a very good brand....i have heard bad things about the Mccord Power Plate

How easy is the install of the QTP's electric cut out...specifically the wiring?

Ours is simple. One power wire and one ground wire. On 4.8/5.3 motors you would order a QTEC30CP. It would be welded on the straight pipe before the muffler which is actually 2 3/4" On 6.0 you have 2 choices. A dual QTEC50 on the pipes after the cats which is 2 1/2" or you can run QTEC60 on the dual straight section before the muffler which is 2 3/4". On my SS we custom made the cutouts on the 2 3/4" pipe and used the QTEC60 and it sounds awesome. I really have to make a video of it.

I had the QTP before I got the ATP boost actuated cutouts. I was really pleased with the QTP and never had any problems with it. I would highly recommend it over the MCord cutout I had prior to the QTP
