I've heard nothing but good about the DMH cutouts. There is also a store on Ebay, Badlandz that sells some, I know alot of the LS1Tech guys are using them and they seem to be good, definitely reasonably priced.

I have the QTP electric cutouts on my 92 stang. The only problems i have ever had with them leaking is when too much carbon gets built up on the blade, but to fix that all you really have to do is clean it off.

I am running a 3.5" Badlanz and it's worked out pretty good. Get an electric one unless getting burned, ruining your clothes and having to get under your vehicle to open it and close it is worth it to you. Been there, only lasted two weeks and got me the electric.

How much did it cost for installation?

I installed it myself, very easy. Just make sure you tell him to send you the long wire. I paid $10 to have the "Y" installed welded on at a local muffler shop.

I mostly only open them at the track on payement after the truck is cooled down anyway... I'm good... if I had an extra couple hundred bucks laying around, I'd be flipping a switch too... but I dont and my setup is still just as effective...

I put and Race Ready E-Cut out from JEgs on my truck a few weeks ago... a little over 1lbs of boost more with it open and the sound is crazy sweet stupid fly! But,i doubt on a N/A Motor you really get any gains... But, on a turbo app it is worth it for the sound alone, i love screwing the ricers now!!!
