electric cutouts are a waste of cash IMO... I have manual cutouts. but if for some reason you need electric ones, the SLP cutouts are nice pieces.

I just couldnt shake the price factor... I spent $50 for both of mine from Jegs

-the power gains will be pretty nice in the top end but you will lose a noticeable amount in the bottom end. At least I did.

Electrics aren't really worth it, but the QTP seems to be the most popular and most economical. You will see more top end gain but a bottom end loss.

You only get a low end loss if you put it to close to the manifolds. Right before the muffler will give gains across the board. The QTP cutouts which i beleive is what your talking about is the best.

Yea, that seems to be the only reason that seems necessary to use an e-cutout for.

my friends QTP's leaked bad. He just finished putting up new electric ones today, I am not sure what brand, i will ask him later. My friend dyno'd his LT1 Firebird and gained between 6-8hp to the wheels.

I ran back to back times, let truck cool between runs. ran .2 better with open cutouts about 6-8"'s behind collectors. same 60ft.

The low end loss is very minimal.
