i want to put a cutout on my trcuk since i had one on my T/A, what size would i need and how should i position it? i am eventaually going to go with a catback.

ahhh, i sold the 3 in electric cuout that i had on my T/A bec i thought the trucks used 2.5 in cutouts and that cutout's were bad in mud!! ahhhhh

Hell I have two on my truck and havent had a problem in the mud with them and the electric ones as long as you buy a good one should be fine. Yes you need a 3" right before the muffler. DMH makes a good e-cutout.

well since i am going to eventually going to go with a cat back i will not get an electric, i am trying to stay cheap till i pay off the truck and and relly go crazy, also can i cut off my exaust pipe after the muffler and have a turndown weleded on without any probs?

well.... thehnically i am not suposed to do anything to the truck till i pay off my GF's mom, so it can't be loud around my house,. but at college it can be.

My buddy put a cutout that i gave him on his explorer at college. That way when his dad came down to visit him and drive it he could put the cutout plate back on and have no problems
