cut outs

why would u put the cutouts after the cats?? the whole point in a cutout is to bypass the exhaust system, including the cats where most the restriction is.
BTW i have a badlandz cutout which is awesome and cheap (on ebay) alot of the guys from the valley run them.

Got to have a electric cutout. Doesn't matter if it makes more power or not. I love being able to make plenty of noise at the push of a button. I use it just about every time i drive the truck. You'll love it!

The cut-out will not inhibit the performance of the truck, only enhance it.
And I have the cut-out behind the Y-pipe. Both exhaust pipes are dropped under the bed, nothing is exposed.
You have to consider the 2nd Oh-2 sensor, and I don't have that either.
Hope I answered your question.

I installed twin 3" Raceready cutouts that I bought as a kit. The kit comes with a very nice backlit rocker switch that matches the rest of the dash perfectly on my truck. (GMT400) The electrical connections underneath are Weatherpacks. They make nice stuff.

Notice in the photos I put them POST catalytic converter; the reasons for that being that no muffling at all gives me a headache almost as bad as the fumes would. After the cats I can have them open most of the time without drawing too much attention.
