Default Cut outs....

What brand cut outs does everyone have and where did you purchase them at? Is there plenty of room for them behind the AS&M headers with gibson exhaust? Also have you had any problems with them leaking?

Flowtech is what most of us use. Thunder Racing has them as do a lot of the site sponsors. But with a single 3" you will have to cut your Gibson piping unless you spool them in, in place of the cats. If not, put it about 1' from the Y pipe on a slight angle to the passenger side.

You have a 3" in whatever out don't you? There is no point in gettin 2 unless you swap them with the cats and run 02 simulators. I was saying to put one 3" about 1 foot back (toward the rear) from where the flange is that you bolted up the Gibson at.

Will that really help it flow that much better since the air will still have to travel through the cats when the cut-out is open? The only thing it will not travel through would be the muffler...is the gison muffler that restrictive?

I'd say in place of the cats or not at all.

Well, maybe in front of the cats if there was room.
