I gained 16 RWHP with dual cutouts open. This was while on a dyno and the guys were surprised that it added that much. So they do add HP.

You won't have to have the electric one welded in. you can just bolt it on like you would the closed plate. Then all you have to do is wire it. QTP (sponsor)------> Sells them.

... and they are pretty slick (although I had to cut the bolts off of the plate cutout and get new bolts because they weren't long enough to put the QTP unit on).

I just installed cutouts on my truck and It seemed to lose some lowend.
