ok I hear all you guys talking about a custom tune all of the time. Nelson is the one I hear most. Also heard something about a megasquirt??? As you guys know I'm new at doing all this. I was wondering what realy is a custom tune and where can I get it done? I always thought that Hypertech and the handheld tuners where the only ones. Just would like to know what exacly a custom tune is and where I can get one done because wanna go with a cam next. Thanx

 

look on nelson performance's website and get allens phone number i am having a lot of questions about who i am going to get to tune mine and have talked to several different people on here and on the phone and looked at many different tunes and i talked to allen about 2 hours ago and after talking to him i WILL have him tune my truck he will tune it for you now and when you get your cam in he will retune and anythin after that he will retune again all retunes are free and you will not speak to a nicer person of this i can guarantee NELSON

allen nelson knows his ****...i set there and watched him change my tune from a 93 hot tune to a sts turbo tune.we drove down the interstate and road tuned the truck before he put it on the dyno...great guy...very knowledgable and tunes every pcm to your mods not just a standard tune.
