for the cut-out itself (piping) yes, for the electric cutout, . . . Hell no, not even close.

QTP stainless cutouts with DMH electrics on them.

 

The QTP parts were about 90 bucks. They were the only stainless set I could find quickly and I really am not crazy about them. Very thin wall. The DMH parts were $320. I have not read good things about the QTP electric cutouts.

Well its mostly done. Still have the electrics to wire up and get some down pipes on the cutouts.

I am liking the sound. A very quiet mellow rumble. Absolutely no drone. Has a different sound to it that I really can't describe. Guess its the x-pipe.

It was a pain in the ***. Welds look like crap but overall I'm tickled. Don't want to do another anytime soon!

I'll post up some more pics and maybe some sound when I get the cutouts going.

 

Well have it buttoned up for the most part with the exception of some turndowns on the cutouts. The DMH units work great. About 3 seconds from open to close.

Clearance to the spare tire. Wound up tacking this slip joint to keep the tailpipe in the right place. It kept moving after driving.

Passenger tailpipe. Lots of adjustments for length and getting it tucked tight
