Default Custom cam for stock stall?

Im going back to the stock stall and thinking about cams to accomodate my head setup and power range.

Ive been thinking about a 213/213 on a 112 with .580 lift and using very similar valve events to my LPE gt2-5 and if anything trying to raise the DCR.
Goal is max HP at 5500 and max power at 4000

1. Does changing duration effect DCR?
2. Could I go with more duration and lower lsa=110 and still be drivable in a parking lot?
3. Adding lift to offset loose of duration?
4. Thoughts on making max torque as low as possible without sacrificing too much top end.

Interesting. I ran a count for timing cells with HP Tuners with the stock stall converter and 6,000 shift points just to see which cells I stayed in for most of the pass.
I hit 4000RPM, for 27 counts and 4400RPM, for 33 counts while 6000RPM saw 13 total counts (2 cells)

...Just gives you an idea of which part of the powerband you need to fatten up. Then of course, everything between flash stall and 4000RPM will need to fattened up if you want the quickest ET possible.

i have the 210/218 114 cam and its pretty good all around. I think i lost a TAD of my low low end power but its not enough to really hurt anything.

id go somewhere in between a 206/212 and a 212/218 cam... If you want a straight up cam like a 213/213 then thats fine also. 112 will have more sound than the 114 and you should have a little more low end and peak power sooner. I'd go with a 212/218 .58x 112 but its gonna need tuning to idle im sure. A 2600 stall would help that cam alot also

GT2-3 will work good in that powerband mine will idle smoothly around 650rpm and make good power from about 1500rpm up to over 6000rpm.Of course I'm running a larger displacement motor.
