Default curious about piston ring sealant

This might be a silly question, and I'm more curious than anything else, because my truck is running fine.

Is there a piston sealant that would help restore some compression and power or even stop oil burning even if just slight?
What I'm thinking of is an oil additive or something of that nature.

Thanks
R.

There are several products on the market but I am not sure how effective they really are.

The claim to restore the ring sealing and restore lost compression.

These are some of the ones I have seen at the auto parts stores.

Rislone
Restore
Bars leak

Never used any as I figured they were likely snake oil type products. If the engine is that far gone and standard cleaning with Oil Solvents won't work, it's probally time for a re-ring at minimum any way.

it's about the same info that I came up with here and there. I thought there might be something worth using out there, specially with today's technology.

Thanks for the info.
