Default Cryogenics??

Anybody heard of cryogenically freezing all of the metal engine components??

Supposedly they will withstand more heat and more abuse after this has been done??

Anyone know where I can get this done(southwest/westcoast area)?? Anyone done this??

Yep. Guy here in town had alot of his MR2 **** cryoed. Wasnt cheap from what he tells me. He swears by it too. Not sure of any places that do it.

Damn.............. I have heard really good things about doin this and am seriously considering it in a few months here when I change a few things.

a buddy of mine has a shop that does this. he is in northern CA, swears by it , but it I have not done anything except drill bits yet.

For what it's worth, the slotted brake rotors that I got from Praise Dyno are cryogenically treated...it's only been a year but they look alot better than the OEM rotors looked after the first year.

My buddy is building an 8sec Camaro and he is going to have some of his parts done. I believe he is having this company do it.

It would be pretty expensive to have a complete motor shipped up there huh??

Prices from them arent as bad as I thought!! Shipping to get my motor up there would be more than the cost itself I think.

If y'all get a chance, read up on this cryogenics stuff it is pretty interesting on how its done, history of it, and the benefits of it.
