JSmith: According to treyz28, the rotors you bought are no better than stock, probably worse. The steel lines help a bit.
Did you bleed the fluid? I bled my whole system with fresh fluid, once the morons at Earl's ship me my 5th steel line that is for my truck, then I will bleed the whole system again with some ATE fluid.

Yes, I flushed the entire system. It's all new fluid in there. I stuck with good old crappy and cheap DOT 3 fluid. Mainly because I don't want to be out on a trip or something and need fluid and be screwed because they don't carry the exotic stuff I need. Also, I don't autocross my truck so I'm not worried about over heated brake fluid. I just wanted my truck to stop better than it did stock which it does and then some.

I should have checked and noted that earls is in long beach, i should have gone and made some ruckus so we could have all gotten our parts sooner.

BTW, there has been approximately no useful information in this thread, again, none is simply an approximation, i have no specific facts or figures to back up this claim.

Also, if you live your life by the numbers, there will always be someone who doesn't who is doing it better.

It's a good setup for being on a budget. good choice on the pads. I have thrown the info out and got my point across, took awhile but i felt we came to an mutual agreement. Im saddened that Yelo's thread has gone to **** in the last few pages. it's been nothing but a dick measuring contest. Trey for the love of god give it a rest. Not everyone will always agree with you so stop trying to make them.

The fluid that I will be putting in my system, the same fluid in Macadayear's truck right now, can be mixed with regular DOT 3 brake fluid, so you don't have to worry about being screwed while out on a trip.

With the ATE Super blue fluid I have yet to feel the pedal loose pressure like the stock fluid would when under extreme conditions. Im gonna see what Chingy's truck is like with a flushed system using stock fluid compaired to the ATE blue, I would think the only difference would be felt once high temps are reached right?

You guys get that too? It almost feels like there's still air in the lines but I know there isn't.

Yeah I know what you mean. I had to stomp the brake earlier tonight and it actually felt really good, not mushy at all. If there's any difference I would imagine it being when it's really hot out.
I went through the canyon with some other tech members one Sunday and halfway down my brake pedal felt like stepping in a pile of dog ****...scared the **** out of me
