Anyone had one go bad? What did the truck run like when it did?

 

I have no idea what happens if it goes bad in our trucks but I had a bmw that did that to me and it wouldnt go over 10 mph in fail safe mode.

On a side not if yours went out I have a few sitting around if you need a new one.

 

Well I Have Different Reactions Sometimes Motor Will No Run.on Others Motor Will Run But Not Strong And Have A Small Miss At Times.

What Type Of Problems Are You Having.

 

did you put anything new on your truck like PCM, cam or anything. I just put a new PCM in and threw that code but its because i need a crank relearn.

 

I had one go bad right at about 50000 miles...

It would crank up then when it got warm it would cut off.... Then it would crank and it keep doing the same thing over and over agian..

315 dollar part.....20 labor..... haha

 

Mine runs fine until i try and step on it. Anything about 2000 at mid to full throttle it cuts out and backfires. The pcm that is in it now has been there for probably a month. I hope yours wasn't $315.00 I only paid $40.00 for mine.
Just took the part to the mechanic this morning will know later if it fixes it or not.
