My friend and brother are getting cam swaps within the next week. My friend ordered new gaskets and crankbolt for his 03 5.3. My brother is getting a cam put in his 03 6.0 SS also....My friend has 5 of the crank bolts and i was under the impression that you only needed one...If this is the case, does anyone know if my brother could use one of these on his lq9. Thanks in advance!

 

You only need one, and your brother can use the same one.

You only need one crank bolt. I've reused mine even though I had a new one.

 

We were asking if you could use the crank bolts I ordered for my 5.3 on the 6.0

 

Yes, any of your 5 crank bolts will work in the 6.0. Same part number for the 4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0 Gen III motors.
