Will the Crane adjustable timing chain set from VHP work with my cam swap on my LQ9 6.0?

 

It will but I would recommend an ls2 timing chain and stock gears. Ask Vinci to see if they have the advance you want already ground into the cam.

 

Yep, I run one in my truck. No clearance problems like others have expereinced with other brands of double roller chains.

 

Got the Manley Double roller adjustable set from Thunder it was cheaper than the Crane.

 

while the manley is cheaper, in order to make any changes, you have to pull the oil pump and crank gear. with the crane, all you do is loosen the allen bolts, turn the center section where the cam bolts to it and retighten.

here's a pic of it in my 408 motor. i used the LQ9 block. no clearance issues.
