Corsa tips hitting bottom of bed?
#1
Went over a really rough patch of road today and I just so happened to be sitting in the bed of my truck. I heard a loud clunk so when I looked at teh exhaust tips, they have puts several small dents in the bottom of the bed side. You can't see them because they are underneath, but if the problem continues then they might worsen. Anyone else had this problem? My Corsa tips tuck pretty close to the bed, I might need to try and rotate some of the piping to get them to hang lower. Input is appreciated. Thanks!

Mine are far away from my bed. I couldn't ever see them coming in contact with the bed. No matter how hard or big of bumps I hit.

I didn't know that they could be adjusted closer without modding the hanger.
I might just give that muffler clamp and twisting the pipe thing a try.
I just don't want the exhaust pipes to get too close to something.
Thanks for the advise!

Hair getting a bit thin on the top???!!!!
J/K man. Your bumper took a mirror image of your head.
Great adjustment on the exhaust tip!
Can you push or pull on the exhaust system and make the tips hit the bottom edge of the bed??
I only ask because I know that the rubber vibration dampners that the hangers are held in by allow the exhaust system to have movement for bumps and frame flex.
Just thought I would ask if you tried to test the movement after the closer adjustment.
