i am wanting to buy a corsa system for my 04 ecsb 5.3 and was wondering how much difference in sound and performance is the sport than the touring.

 

Same performance gain just the sport is pretty damn loud especially with lt headers and no cats. Thunder550 has a video of that setup search for his thread. Or you can go to the multimedia section there is a corsa thread there and I posted a link to that video sounds good IMO. Im ditching my dual exhaust setup to go with a corsa sport they sound badass.

 

btw goto a local gmc dealership some come with corsa package, take a test drive if they have them

 

No Corsa at dealers up here. Asked the dealer parts dept about it and they had to get back to me. They could get it for only $1350 CDN ($1150 US) plus shipping!


Didn't bother asking if that was the sport or touring edition.

 

interesting, almost every gmc dealer around here has a truck with a special package its called the "prosport"

 

To my knowledge there isnt a corsa porsport. There is the touring, the gibbs edition muffler, and the sport as far as I know and the sport sounds badass IMO.

 

Yes there is a Corsa Sport system offered at the dealer. Maybe not all of them.
I hope you guys are not dealing with the parts department!
As they do not know much about the aftermarket parts.
You will need to go inside to the GM Performance or accessory department inside the dealership to order or get these aftermarket parts.
Some small dealerships will not or may not have these departments.
Anyways, you can get in on a group purchase and have it shipped for a lot cheaper than $1,000.00.
I picked mine up locally for an even $700.00 which included tax.
Some dealerships will even match prices from there gmpartsdirect.com web-site. Which are sometimes pretty cheap.

Are you going with the factory replacement, or a 6.0 dual style cat back? Just curious since you're swapping in a 6.0, and I plan to do the same

 

i checked out thunder 550 video and i'm definitely going with the corsa sport. it sounds bad a$$
