Is this correct? Help with Oil Pan and Filter Please!!!

:confused: So, what the hell to you all think of this? I know the pics are crappy :( , but it looks like I only have one of the ports for the oil filter opened up (and less than half way at that). So that's the either the supply or return. Shouldn't the other one be punched out?
