I have the 2005 truck set up elec fans. I control both my fans by 2 switches, low and high. I very seldom have to turn the high on when driving in stop and go traffic.

My setup is similar to yours. I have issues when sitting in traffic also. Im trying to decide if I want to switch back to the clutch fan or just wait till the spring and get a bigger radiator and the 05 fans.

Are you fans sealed against the radiator, with weatherstriping or something similar? If not your sucking in air from the side that is not even going threw the radiator...
