Default coolant lines

whats the deal with the coolant lines on the top of the motor??? I saw a picture on a post that showed the little metal tubeing connecting the frount lines to the back. My truck "an 03" only has a line across the front. the back are blocked off.

I am in the middle of my ls6 create motor install and need to know if I need the lines that connect the frount with the back of the block..

Thanks guys....

no you are fine. alot of people like your setup better. O and if you are putting any type of long tube header on lay them in there as you drop the motor in it will make life a lot easier.

Good luck
