Default which convertor?

ok so im doing a 5.3 swap sometime within the next month in my rcsb silverado. the motor im lookin at has a tr224 already in it. now im still gonna prolly still pull a 18ft car trailer with a car once in awhile. What would be a good stall to put in the truck?

thanks,
dennis

that 224 is going to want a 3000 rpm stall speed (or more) but Towing really limits you. Get a Yank TT2600/TT3000 and a really big tranny cooler

I agree with trever1t on the yank converter. As far as your trans cooler it depends on what style your haden is. If it is a fin type cooler they aren't very efficient compared to a plate style like the Long Tru-Cools or the B&M SupperCoolers. Haden does make some plate style too though so it just depends on which one you have and what the GVW it is rated too. I would get one rated at 25,000 GVW at a minimum with a stall and towing planned.
