Default Which converter would you go with?

Hey guys just want to know your input on which converter i should go with. Its between the circle d 3200 278mm and a yank ss3600, i will be running a cam only 6.0 and the cam will be chosen based on the converter. I drive roughly 50/50 highway and city and would like to have reasonable mpg. I would LOVE to reach the 400rwhp mark but i am saving for a saleen so idk if the extra $500 is worth it for the yank(i can get the circle d for ~320). So 3200 or 3600? Thanks in advance

You're going about it all backwards. You match the converter to the cam & weight of the vehicle, you don't pick a cam based on the converter you have(or plan to get).

Really? I was just going to have Geoff from eps to spec a cam for me. My trucks around 4000lbs, so buy the cam THEN find a converter to match it as opposed to specing a cam based on the verter I have?

Give Circle D a call and ask them to recommend a converter. One of the first things they'll ask is what are the cam specs.
