Here's what I've got, and what I plan on doing in the next 12 months...
*2001 RCSB Sierra
*LS1 w/ TR224 cam [350-375whp?] (stock heads, truck intake, stock exhaust manifolds for now)
*BFG Drag Radials (maybe ET Streets later?)
*4.10's w/ Auburn (getting installed next week)
in the near future...
*100-150 shot
*FLP/Dynamaxx headers
*AFR or ported stock heads
*built tranny (Yank or FLP)
Will the Yank Truck Thruster 3200 be enough for my setup, or should I go with one of the "car" converters? I do absolutely NO towing or hauling. Are the two interchangeable?
Any other input would REALLY be appreciated!!!

I would go with one of the "car" converters. They have the higher stall and shift extension you'll need to run a cam of that size. The Yank Super Stock 3800 would be the best choice for a cammed truck on the juice.

yeah, me too! I really hope to get into the 13s with the current setup (stock heads, etc.)
I really want to get into the 12s, though. Pretty deep in the 12s actually. Like top 5 fast. All it takes is time and money, although more of the latter than the former.

The only reason why the SS 3800 would work well in a heavy truck is because of its very high Stall Torque Ratio. This will make throttle tip-in and driveability much better. High STR will also pull the shifts down a little more too which is important for a nitrous application. Nitrous makes torque down low, negating the need for lots of shift extension. The SS converters have the best balance of STR/efficiency/driveability I've seen in the 3600-4000 stall range.

Scream, Ive only got 2 more months left here in Fl. When are we going to line the trucks up?
All I have to do is re-assemble the motor when i get the block back and drop her in the truck. If I can get everything together, we'll line 'em up.
