Default Consistent ticking noise

A guy has a truck for sale 74,000 miles on it, with the ticking issue noted below, I'm interested in the truck, does this sound like a major issue ?

The cylinders bored out to a 5.7 liter, slightly bigger cam, and replaced the stock pulley on the supercharger with a smaller one. The engine was finished in February of 2011 but when it was first started there was a consistent ticking noise. The truck has been sitting in the garage since then

Mine does it too. Especially after I installed my cam. I think it is a common occurrence.

You would really have to hear it. Most of the ticking noises that people complain about is due to headers. I imagine it is worse than that if they quit running it because of it. Ask if they have a video of it ticking.
