Default Considering 6.0 swap. Hold off on exhaust?

I had planned on getting an exhaust system after I paid off of my truck and last week was the last payment. I've also been entertaining the idea of a 6.0 longblock swap. I won't likely be doing headers with this so the exhaust will still fit as I would be using the current manifolds. The exhaust I'm thinking about having done is just 2 single chamber flowmasters, (I know they flow like shat) probably no H or X pipe and it dual it straight out the back.

My biggest concern is this... If I go and have a new system all welded up and I decide to do a motor swap will end up having to take the sawzall to the pipes? Or can it all be left in tact and not bothered with?

they wont't weld them to the manifold's and at most shops they use clamps unless you request weld.I've debated the same think however I chose to do it after the swap because I want a larger dual exhaust then my current motor will handle. that was just my take on it.

No, of course they won't weld the pipes to the manifolds. And I don't want a clamped system, welded or nothing. I was just wondering if I choose to do the swap. Could I just unbolt the studs holding the pipes to manifolds, pull the engine, swap manifolds to the 6.0, and drop it in with the old exhaust still in place? I know generally you're supposed to remove the exhaust system but I don't really see why you couldn't do it like this.

I don't know why you generally have to take the exhaust down but no you don't and just make sure put the right size pipe.
