Default Confused after new cam install

Last night Blk6.0LHD put a new Z06 cam in my truck and everything went smooth.

I went out to test it with my G-Timer (not G-Tech).

#1 14.62@90.8mph 2.04 60'.

#2 goin opposite dir on same stretch of road was 14.0@97.8mph 1.95 60'

Couldn't make anymore runs due to CHP taking up residence.

Today after finding out my MAF was unplugged the whole time I made 3 more runs.

#3 Same exact spot as 1st run: 14.67@91.4 2.0 60'

#4 13.98@98.3 1.94 60'

#5 same spot as run #2 14.52@92.8 1.98 60'

Ok, this meter is damned accurate. My testing at the track has shown it to be 1 10th off if you dont deep stage and less than 1mph off and .04 off in 60' (all because you need to deep stage to compare to track timers). I have never gotten such wild variations in this thing so I my question is could I be getting lots of KR which is causing my #'s to fluctate so badly? I highly doubt I will run 14.0s@98 with just a cam swap and electic fans but I would think 14.6@93 shouldnt be far off the mark. My reason for asking is because if I just did a cam swap and electtic fans I would hope to get SOME mph out of it. And it sure as hell pulls harder throughout the rpm band now instead of fallin on it's face after 5k rpm.

Ohh, and for those who have changed their stock timing how many degreees did you up it and at what grms/cyl did you start and end at? .40-.90?
What do you guys think?

I think 14.0s should be within easy reach for your combination.

In the High Octane table in edit, grab all the cells from the coordinate {rpm=1600,gms/cyl=0.32} to the lower right corner and change those cells. These are the only cells Hypertech changes, and it works out very well.

i had variations in my GTech runs as well. they varied around .3 of a second when going back and forth on the same road. i usually did a bunch of runs and then averaged them. it is hard to get accurate readings on roads. too many bumps and slight elevation changes during that 1/4 mile.
