computer up grade ?

Default computer up grade ?

What computer up grade works best on 03 1500 5.3 & what is the best air intake system for my truck. raced another single cab 5.3 and won but he had 3.42's & open rearend. I have 3.73 locking rearend.

What's the difference in performance between a locking rear-end and a limited-slip rear-end? Which is better?

A locking rear is way better since u got both back tires turnin instead of just one like in the LSD. It's almost imposible for me to hook up with my open differential.

An LSD is not an open rear end. The factory (G80) limited slip needs 500rpm of wheel spin before it locks while a true locker is always engaged and uses friction clutches that maintain that lock. Spools are one piece units that solidly mate the two axle shafts together. The drawback of spools on a street driven vehicle is that the inside tire will always spin faster than the outside tire resulting in premature tire wear. I'm sure someone else will chime in and elaborate.
