computer issue

I'm putting the parts together to do a H/C on a 93 350. I'm using the vortec heads, but according to Comp cams, I will be limited to a rather anemic cam because of the limitations of the chip.
I have a couple of modified LS1 cars that I had the PCM edited to compensate for the mods. Is there anyone that is doing this with th earlier chips?
Thanks

I'm planning on going with an Eldebrock intake with the holley TBI adapter. I plan on doing the TBI modifications to get a little more flow.
I'm not interested in a radical cam because it's a daily driver, but CC said I would be limited to about a 206/210 degree at .050, which is not much more than stock.
I guess I should contact TC and see what the can do for me.
Thanks

turbo city knows their stuff, call 'em up, and talk to tom. And do not, i repeat, do not buy the holley projection 670 cfm throttle body, under no circumstances. it's a piece of crap, and all you'll have is drivability issues. Tom knows his stuff, buy what he tells you to, and they'll make a chip for your application. btw, you can go with a much bigger cam... I think tom says 210 duration on intake is the max to go, and exhaust doesn't matter. but i had a bigger one, worked fine on stock heads. vortec heads might be dif. remember, with the vortec heads you have to do egr modifications to your headers or manifolds.
