comps thumpr cam??????

i have a 99 silverado 1500 ext cab 4x4 that i am swaping a 6.0 into with a yank 3000 truck converter my truck has 4.10 and i pull my 01 camaro to the track other than that i just drive it i'm think of buying the big mother thumpr what do you guys think i know its big but when i pull with my truck i'm above 3000 rpm and it would sound great

Looks to big for a tow vehicle I would think. Would probably require a much bigger stall and that would be bad for towing, you are pushing it with a 3k stall, hope you've got a serious cooler on there... but we'll let our resident sperts chime in.

^^^ What they said, that's too much cam for a tow vehicle, I'd keep the duration alot lower. Search here and the internal section and you'll find alot of 6.0 towing options...

get a custom grind, 224-228 duration, same lift on a 108 or 109 LSA, it will still lope at idle but will work better with your stall and you can still tow with it. and make sure you have a nice tranny cooler, like a tru-cool 40K
