I think it would be a good choice, I thought it would be too small for my 6L so I went with a 216/220. That should really work nice in a 5.3. Allen won't steer you wrong.

Goin with the Comp 216/220. Hit me up in a month or so. I'll let ya know how well it runs. Will definitely put it on the 1/4 mile by the end of January.

I just put that cam in a 4.8 the other day. It had minimal loss of low end. He says it runs better all around. He's very pleased with the cam!

I dont like the $400 price tag.There have been sponsers here selling new comps for $330,sound right?Sometimes linginfelter sells there cams dirt cheap.

If you order through Comp themselves, you will payt full price. If ordered through a sponsor, you should be able to get it cheaper.
