I haven't heard any horror stories about the new springs, i replaced my old 918's with the new ones a year ago. I had good service from Comp...would have been nicer if they paid for the swap but oh well.

it was a futral f5. nowhere near the max out point... i hope all thats messed up is just the valve.... it didnt drop. its still in the guide. im going to wait till this evening to pull the heads , to damn hot......

hope it didnt warp my head

while they are off i guess i might as well port them and some thin cometics

Everyone pisses and moans about the new springs since there's been a few broken ones. What everyone fails to post up is their true installed height and that if they checked for coil bind. Everyone just thinks you can install a spring and run with it. Doesn't always work that way.......

You are right checking installed height and spring pressure is good practice.
What about the same type of people running PAC Beehives.I haven't read one failure report yet not saying its never happened just haven't read about it.
