Default Is this common?

Since I've bought my truck, I have seen an ungodly amount of newer Chevy/GMC trucks with one of the DRLs out. Have any of you had your DRLs go out prematurely?

That is common. Something about a coolant line running just under the housing that heats it up or something like that. I think there is a TSB out on that. I heard that if yours goes out you can take it to the dealer and the will replace them with some long life bulbs free of charge. Dont know for sure though. I put amber long lifes in mine before the stockers went out.

I just turn mine off. I don't like them on anyway.
