Default Cold weather no start

I have a 2000 Silverado with a 5.3. The last 3 mornings its been down to 0 degrees and my truck wont start. it cranks but wont fire. Later in the day when it warms up it'll start and run fine. I can hear the fuel pump kicking on, and theres pressure in the rail. I gave it a blast of starting fluid and it doesn't even hickup. I don't have a scanner. I'll take it down and have it scanned if it starts this afternoon. Any ideas?

Well, if you have fuel and compression, you must be missing spark.

What’s it do if you crack the throttle a bit when cranking

stock tune. I tried cracking the throttle a bit. nothing happened. This afternoon it warmed up to 25 degrees and it started right up like nothing was wrong. I ran it down and had it scannd and it had no relevant codes.

Intake manifold gaskets could be leaking. Unmetered air= super lean.

Just a thought. It's a TSB too.

I think that spraying the ether and getting nothing would be a good argument against a lean condition.

Could it be the VATS acting up?
