I'm going to install my cam hopefully next weekend. I'll get some dyno numbers right after install too. I'm hopin to break 330/330. w/ a 3000rpm stall I should be well into the 13's
Definently. I wasn't getting good traction, but w/ a stall and tires, i knocked off a second of my 1/8 e.t. I have a 3500, but its to "high" for my daily driving, so im getting a lower one soon.

yeah Im tryin 2 get Dozer's 212/218... I want a cam baaad but dont think it'll really be worth the 5 hundo.. (and I may have just fucked myself 4 sharing my deal... but anyway) I was thinkin about doin a 6.0... still kinda debating it but I would really love to get some aluminum heads and intake and stuff and just do everything shy of a blower 4 now and see if I can make my 4.8 a little demon.. maybe wishful thinking. But this site is definately a huge help if u can get on a sale fast enough

I took it off, and cleaned it and the throttle body port. I guess i'll see if that helped tomorrow morning.

See if you're fuel pressure reg is leaking gas into the vac line. That's a very common problem.

I'll check that dave.
I've done the iac, but it didnt seem to work. When it gets a real bad idle in the morning, it sounds like my exhaust is hitting, but its a knocking noise somewhere. When im pulling out of my driveway slow it knocks for a second, and usually flashes the cylinder misfire and the ses, but goes off after a couple other starts. My friend just got his fixed, and they told him that the gasket on the intake manifold was the culprit for him?
