Default another dumb question...

i am ordering a set of pacesetter LT's...

question: can't i just use my factory y pipe without the cats and attach it to the collector ends of the LT's....instead of paying another $100 for their ORY ??

it seems as if i could, i think theirs is mandrel bent......but boo hoo.

i dont see why it wouldnt work?

I don't think it would be possible, especially without the cats. No reason to even attempt it really cause it would be a lot more work than just fabbing up your own from some pipe or having an exhaust shop do it for.

You'd have to pay someone to fab everything up. The Pacesetters are built for the slip-fit ORY and do not have flanges to attach to your factory y-pipe. You're probably looking at close to $100 anyway for labor to cut and weld your stock Y and to buy and attach flanges to the LT's, assuming it's even possible to modify the stock Y to fit the Pacesetters. The diameters are different too, so you'd have to run a reducer in there somewhere as well. Not worth it, plus after all is said and done you'd have hacked up parts that won't be worth anything if you decide to sell them later.
