Cold Air Intake recommendations...?

I've had Volant and K&N. They were both easy to install, very similar performance gains, and very similar price. I prefer the volant because it seems the filter doesn't get as dirty as fast and the optional air scoop.

i say build one yourself with some 4" tubing and conical filter. much cheaper for the same gain. but if i had to buy one off the shelf it would probably be one of the two that three83 recommended

I've had the K&N FIPK and now the Volant with ram air. Both are easy to install, and seem to provide the same gains. If you ever plan on doing 05 e-fans with a 34" rad, I recommend that you go with the Volant as it clears the radiator without any modification, unlike the K&N, which needs to be cut/bent/etc. to clear the rad.
FWIW, from what I've read here, guys with the homemade versions seem to be seeing pretty much the same gains as the aftermarket CAI's.

I have a granetelli intake. I got it from another vendor from the internet. It was a lot cheaper than the other brands and its been a good one. Its pretty thick plascit so it worked out pretty well when I put the hole in it for my nitrous nozzle.
