Default Cog pullies for 5.3, for whine sound only

I've got a 2005 5.3 and was wondering if anyone has installed a cog system to replace the factory serpentine belt? This would be for a NON supercharged 5.3, cog system is just for accessories and for whine sound.

So you intentionally want to make your truck more annoying just for fun?
Would be cooler if you had a blower on there

To do this, you will either need to run an aftermarket crank pulley with a cog portion, and either have a custom pulley made for the alternator or powersteering, OR you could put them all on a cog belt with a single belt but would still need a custom crank pulley. Either way you are looking at probably $1000 or so for all the pulleys.

Do they make the spur gear timing sets for these like they did for the SBC? Those had a whine to them.

The only reason I would want to hear whine is from a blower, but to each their own...

Ha-ha, I've had a procharger before and miss the whine. I've got a turbo on the truck right now, I was just putting it out there.
