Default code P0113

its...... IAT High Input ........

what would cause this?... i think we might have swapped the wires when we soldered the wires when we were extending the wires from the stock loom....

The IAT (idle air temperature) is different from the IAC (idle air control). I wonder if it is just really hot from running it in 100* weather

Hey anyone with a Radix, there isn't a pos/neg to the iat wire extensions on the iat sensor in the manifold is there? You simply hook up the black and tan wires from the original maf to the new iat white wires, right?

Trying to help out a friend, Thanks!

The IAT sensor is just a thermistor in a fancy plug shape. It's a heat sensitive resistor, so to answer your question, there is no positive or negative. It's kinda like a light, just hook it up.

Onyx, you got any logging/scanning software? What kind of IAT's are you seeing? Did this happen while you were getting on it or what?

its intake air temperature sensor, and its mounted inside your maf sensor, it sets when the iat reads -40 or something like that, or when its disconnected, you either have the wires crossed. or theyre not connected well enough at some place. like maybe the solder has come apart good luck

The IAT sensor on the RADIX is in the base of the blower/intake tub.

so i looked at the loom where the wires were running to look at the solder. well i forgot to tape up the solder points... so i tape.

thinking everything is all good i start driving again later that night.. the friggen light pops on again... i took it to auto zone. same code.

so now im going to cut the solder, and put some splices in place instead. im hoping this helps... because this should get me a good connection if the solder didnt.

just to add to my rambling in this thread....

i cut the solder and put in some splices and made sure everything was nice and segregated... so we'll see if the code pops up tomorrow...
