is there a really big difference on coated headers and noncoated headers whats the difference

Coated are a lot better. No rust. Less underhood heat.

supposed to cut down on heat.. Im gonna get mine just raw finish if I can find it or painted and wrap them with header wrap.. kinda ugly but kinda oldskool to me but thats supposed to do the same thing. You can get wrap for like 50 bux for 200ft roll or some **** like that as apposed to the extra 150+ for coating

Only problem with the wrap is it tends to promote rust. I have seen it make a mess on some headers.

I got my pacesetters painted, and then I scuffed them and prepped them and put several coats of the 1600 degree duplicolor high temp paint.

They have been on for 4.5 months and they still look new and they are flat black colored.

about 120 bucks 1 would put toward another performance mod!!!
