Default Clutch Fan Removal

I have a 04 Yukon Denali 6.0L. Im installing a aluminum radiator and slim electric fans. I just removed the fan clutch unit of the water pump pulley. My question is, after removing the fan clutch nut of the water pump pulley do you need to screw the nut back on or leave it be? Is the water pump pulley pressed on to the water pump? Thanks for your time.

You just leave it be, the threaded stud is part of the pulley which is pressed on to the water pump

Thank you for the help. I just wanted to make sure. Last thing I need is the water pump pulley falling off.

I had no choice but to leave mine on since I cut the fan clutch from the water pump using a torch. I lost my patience
