Clutch fan removal?

Okay, I am going to be removing the fan while installing ASP pulleys. Any ideas on how well the truck would run without a fan at all?? Currently the temperature is only averaging about 10* Think the truck will overheat with no fan?

Well the A/C or Defrost won't work for **** as there will be no air being pulled through the condensor at idle.
Other than that it should be fine. If you get stuck in traffic, you'd be in a world of it.

I don't think that would be a good idea. I would only run without a fan if I was stuck on the highway with a blown fuse in my E-fans long enough to get somewhere I could get a new fuse.
Overheated motor could easily blow a head gasket and warp your heads. If the shop saw no fan on it, they would **** a break and laugh at you for wanting it done under warranty too.

where your at and that temp you might beable to get by for alittle bit. but dont do any traffic and youll
be fine. since you be moving and the air is already 10* so it will take a while for it to warm up.

i drove around for several days with just the wide radiator while i was waiting for my efans to show. if for some crazy reason it looks like it is going to over heat cause your sitting in one spot too long just shut it off. we dont normaly have trafic jams around here though, roads get busy but hardly ever stop moving completly.

Well, I got the pulleys changed. Took me 5 hours. So much for not having the right tools. My three prong puller was having issues, the air impact took a crap. I ended us doing things the hobo way with a long pipe stuck through the pulley braced on the ground and used a wrench with a 4ft long cheater bar on it to break the bolt loose. Truck runs good now. I did put the fan back on
