Question Choosing mufflers is exhausting

Who's running what mufflers?

I have an '86 Silverado and hopefully will be putting in a 350 in the near future. Along with the motor will go a new exhaust, and this leads to my next question, what's a good exhaust setup?

Super 40s do sound great.

I dont know if Edelbrock still makes them, but their Performer RPM mufflers sound bad ***. They have a really deep, throaty, agressive sound that sounds totally different than Flowmaster.

Depends on what kind of resonance you want to deal with. My super 40 has too much drone w/o cats IMO, I wish I would have gone with a long-cased Magnaflow...

Anyone know of a good set of long tube headers to go on the 350?

I've got a used Flowmaster 50 2.5" I woudl let go in case you had any interest. Structurally solid, but does have that NY surface rust.
