Talking Check out my Synergy dyno tune

Rick at Synergy Motorsports bolted my z71 to his dynapack dyno and tuned my bone stock 5.3 into a freak! Check out the awesome printout I got.

The first pull which was pretty close to the stock tune, she made 274.6hp@5276
and 315.3ft@2494

Final run with ZERO knock we ended up with 298.8hp@5245 and 329.4ft@2494

The cool thing about the dynapack is it can read average horspower and torque. Ended up with an average of 246.9 hp and 303.8ftlbs

So thats an increase of 24.2 PEAK hp and 14.1 ft lbs
with an AVERAGE increase of 14.1 hp and 15.8 ft lbs across the whole curve

The difference is amazing, part throttle accel. now feels like the old full throttle acceleration, It doesn't have to downshift to set you back in your seat. It rips outta the hole in 4 hi with my tt3000, and pulls up top like it never has before.

Nice numbers... looks like i'll be heading over there instead of the mail order route. Is this tuned for 91 octane? If you don't mind, how much did the tune cost ya?

Yup, 91 octane. Our tunes run 400 for N/A tuning, and an extra 25 bucks to weld in an extra O2 bung for the wideband. All cars that come in for tunes are only read at the motor for A/F. Hope we can help with your truck.

The graphs only say that because you have the options of adding a percentage to the numbers to simulate what power you are making after the driveline lose. But those numbers you see are comming right off the axles.

Thanks guys, Rick really gives you your moneys worth, we spent about 4 hours tuning, he took the time to make sure everything was perfect and safe. Drivability is up too. There are no more dead spots when passing in on the highway, it will downshift at will.

Glad to hear it went well man

Rick called me early in the day to let me know it was going well with the automatics on his dyno and then after your test drive and let me know how happy you were. I was relieved when I knew we was going to tune it for you after the converter install. When i first installed the converter with no tuning I had some lockup issues and such at low RPM driving which sucked.

So overall you're happy now huh?
