Default changing the whole exhaust

whats up guys? Im going to change my whole exhaust, every component, from the headers, all the way back, brand new. I love opinions, so im counting on alot of them. anywayz...

right now i envy all of u, because i havent seen my truck in a LONG time, and im finally going to go home to it in march. Right now im deployed to SAND LAND, with the army, tons of fun, believe me....

But... im looking for LOUD AND AGGRESSIVE! i dont care about noise laws, as lound and aggressive as possible!

but with that noise, i want to keep the power there, low end and top end, i know its a hard combonation, but im trying to figure it out.

I want the pacesetter longtube headers, and a true dual setup, i had a true dual straight pipe setup, gutted cats, straight out the rear, and then dumped halfway, its LOUD, but now i want my headers, and i wanna try to make it "kinda legal"

Im in texas, so i though about getting cat cans, and running a pipe through the middle, hooking up fake 02 sensors, since i already have sims, so it looks legal! and i hate mufflers, but i know i need them too. so im thinking about cutouts.

and maybe an x pipe, im not sure, i want my power there, but i love loud, racing or reving it at a group gathering, and having people just be like..... damn!

and i also thought about having 22 inch 4 inch chrome tips out the back, what do yall think???

Anyway, just run open headers. It will sound like glass is exploding in your ear

catless pacesetters, 2.5" true duel with x pipe and 2 short straight through mufflers to be kinda legal. then 2 electric cutouts before the x pipe for when you want to wake the dead. my 2cents

What he said, but put the cutouts before the mufflers. I know its really self explanitory, but just making sure.

Im glad you posted this because i will be running the same setup!!

I have pacesetter LT's, No cats, 2.5" Magnaflow X-pipe and either dynomax bullets, hooker aerochambers, slp resonators or magnaflows for the muffler.

I havent got it installed at all yet but it will be done in the next couple weeks. I was going to get the corsa sport catback but i know i can find something that will sound just as loud and aggressive for 1/4 the cost. lol. I love the corsa and i would love to have it but 750 bucks on just a muffler and some tips is crazy. Maybe i will come by a used one in the future but for now, im trying to decide which muffler to use...

Which mufflers do yall think would be best to finish this setup?? This will answer both out questions!!

Taylor, just get some Hookers!! I can hook you up! But seriously, either go with some Hooker Aerochambers, Dynomax Super Turbos, or Dynomax Ultra Flos.
