Default Change of plans guys! What do ya think?

Okay sooo This is how i have decided i want my set up to be like, give me some feedback on what you guys think. Stock 5.3 right now
( I plan on picking up a Kb Racing Turbo kit when $$$ allows it )

TU0 216 216 .561 .561 114 Or TU1 225 225 .581 .581 113
I can't decide what do you guys think.
I heard TU0 Is pretty good even if i'm not FI yet.

Will be doing a 4l80e swap, with a converter Kinda want a 2600-3000
I have 3.42's and I heard that they were good with a Turbo.

I want to have my truck to kick *** and be fun to drive While i save up For a Turbo. Also since i'm trying to keep my truck a sleeper, I'll be ordering a Cut out from DMH, My only question is.... Will i be able to use it once i get the Turbo?

Yeah i think this about sums it up for now. Its late and i can't think but yeah tell me what you guys think, thanks.

Id go with the bigger cam. You should be able to use the cut out, just mount it in the down pipe a little ways after the turbo

The TU0 would be better matched with the turbo kit on the 5.3L. I think the TU1 is a little too big IMO for turbo. Now if you stayed NA the TU1 would be better yes if you had the converter to match it with and prob gears.

Yes, 3.42 gears work well with turbos as it loads better.

TU0 looks like a great 5.3 turbo cam. Start with the 3.42's, but it will prob be a pig out of the hole with the 80E's 2.48 first gear. Deal with that once it's all together and running.

ls6 cam in my truck, love it. Running a 3.73 and its just about right with the 4l80. Def get a spec'd cam or a 04+ zo6 cam, and spend some good money on a good converter. Thats about all I see. Depending on the turbo kit you can get a cutout made into the dowpipe, and then just bolt on the elec. cutout of your choice.
