Shoot an email to the owner of this site: http://www.mashedpedal.com/ He used to have pics of his center console rachet shifter, but the pictures were removed a while back.

I'll have one for sale as soon as I can post some pics. It's charcoal gray and was intended for a extended cab since it has the rear vents. I also have the mounting bracket that secures under the seats. Hopefully I'll get her cleaned up and get some pics posted in the classified section this evening.

Your going to need a long shifter. The console is pretty high were the shifter would go.
The console bolts in with no problems. Maybe you would better off forgeting the front section all together. I'm not sure if you will have enough room to shift. perhaps a short throw setup would be best.

i think he means an automatic shifter....like a zgate or whatever from B&M....an automatic 4 speed shifter...more of a looks (pimp) thing than any gain in functionality. the truck that was on here a while back, 408, blown, sprayed, back halfed he had that done....do a search Greg, something should come up. it could be done VERY easily.....

94-95 Imps had a column shifter.

96 Impys had a console shifter. The linkage should be the same since it was for a 4L60E. If the console fit that could be an option.

Get some racing seats and put the shifter on the center hump back close to where you sit.
