pro, more power and 1 less thing to go wrong.

con: more noise (depend on what you like) more smell (sometimes) and not so great for the ozone. all of my DD vehicles have factory converters. none of my toys have them.

More power? I dunno, they are completely free flowing as is.

I just noticed more noise, ALOT more noise with my muffler setup. All the rasp will come alive without cats, I just added a resonator to make it less loud.

I'd also search around, more than a few threads with different opinions on this topic.

more power to a built motor i should have said. theres no way my engine combo would keep the same power with converters. a stock engine probably wouldnt see enough increase to make it worth the time.

i think if you have a stock motor you just have noise, and smells......if you have a built motor it can breathe a lot better
