I don't run cats and I'm also in Texas. I just never have to worry about people looking under my truck

Just put the stock stuff Back on before emissions and put the headers back on after you leave. Thats what is was gonna do before I sold these to you. We only need emissons every 2 years here I think. So in the worst case senario you have to do this once a year.

they dont do emissions if its a 1997 or newer, as long as you dont have any codes (SES light).. and they dont take a look under truck for cats, you'll be alright.... I havent had cats for 2yrs now...

They passed a law here a year or two ago that they can't fail you if the check engine light is on.

I'm just really afraid of getting nailed by some of the ******** in houston that call themselves cops. Hell i hadone actually look under my car for cats and a muffler once cause my truck was too loud... that and i would prefer to use cats anyway.

BTW maybe i could do what another member did and have "Swappable Cats" and swap them with pipe sections for everytime but inspection.

Since you already have the "Y" this one may not be of much use to you:
http://www.car-sound.com/02product/d...irectfit=93419

but here's a universal unit your shop can weld in.

Does your Y have the O2 bungs already welded to it?
